If you enjoyed the Vandal Eyes short story, or if you missed it and need to catch up, you now have two ways to read it in its entirety. To read it online, you can find it all on one page here. Alternatively, if you want a copy to keep, you can download it as a free ebook from Smashwords so it can sit alongside all those other free ebooks that you got but never have time to read. It is available in pdf, epub, and mobi (for Kindle), so you can read it on any device you choose. It will also be available shortly in other ebook markets, such as iBooks, Kobo, and Nook stores. It will likely not be released in the Kindle store, however, because Amazon does not support free books. To read the story on your Kindle, please download the mobi file from Smashwords.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to read my work. I hope to see you all here again in the future. The next venture will be finishing Book Two of the Universe series. I’m about 65% done, so I want to get that out of the way before I start working on anything else. If you haven’t read the first volume of Universe, Unremarkable & Other Stories, you can help support a starving artist just by reading it here on the blog or by buying the ebook (to be released soon, I hope). Unremarkable & Other Stories is a collection of sixteen superhuman adventure tales from stories serialized on this blog. And yes, four of the characters are named after Anne and Bonnie’s pets. Don’t ask. It just happened that way.
Also, before anyone asks — yes, there may be a sequel to VandalEyes sometime in the future. I haven’t even touched on Star Wars, or spiders, or Benedict Cumberbot, or naps, or puppies, or Espionage Makeup, or…
UPDATE 7/22: The book has shipped to the Apple and Kobo (Sony) Stores and should be available soon.
UPDATE 7/27: Now available on iTunes (search for “Vandal Eyes” and look under Books) and for Barnes & Noble Nook users.
UPDATE 8/3: Now available on Kobo.
You guys have picked up over 150 copies of my silly story. Thanks to each and every one of you. I’m definitely going to do a sequel in the near future.
